Festival Times:
• The gates open at 3 p.m. on Friday Aug. 6 in Riverside Park for general admission ticket holders. Campers may begin set-up for the weekend in Frog Island Park at 12 p.m. on Friday.

Meet Jambo Man! He’s the cuddly and highly recognizable mascot for the Michigan Roots Jamboree! Unfortunately, even with his stunning good looks and charming wit, he’s just not cutting it in the dating world. He really does have a great personality, and we don’t mean he’s fat! We have a last minute addition to the lineup for this year’s Michigan Roots Jamboree. Ann Arbor Folk Musician Dick Siegel will be joining the lineup Saturday, August 7. Dick Siegel is the son of a classical violinist, and grew up in New Jersey in an environment that encouraged creative musical expression. We have a late addition to the Michigan Roots Jamboree! The Ben Miller Band from Joplin, Missouri will be joining the lineup for Saturday, Aug. 7. Their distinct blend of old style blues with bluegrass, zydeco, folk, and hip hop has a driving beat and is sure to get everyone dancing!
